Peter Owen - Senior Partner

I have been working in the Company Commercial
department since 1997. Prior to joining the firm, I worked for many
years at Bliss, Sons & Covell before setting up The Owen Partnership
with my wife Lynne in 1992. The Owen Partnership ran for five years
before joining up with Baily Gibson. I was appointed Senior Partner
in April 2003. |

Lynne Owen - Partner

|
I have been a Partner with Baily Gibson since 1997,
working in Residential Conveyancing. Based in Beaconsfield, but
covering a wide geographical area, the Baily Gibson Conveyancing department is a
small but very busy office - recently upgraded with staff and modern IT
to cope with the increasing requirements of our clients. |

Richard Wainman - Partner
|
|
I joined Baily Gibson in 1997 and became a Salaried
Partner in April 2007. I am the head of the Family Department and am
a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel and Resolution. I
specialize in matters concerning children, in particular Care
Proceedings (representing either the child(ren) or the parents) as
well as contact/ residence disputes. I also have considerable
experience in dealing with Child Abduction Matters, Injunctions and
divorce. Outside work I enjoy spending time with my family and am a
keen musician and song writer |

Kathy James
|
|
I joined Baily Gibson in 2006 to head the Private
Client Department and my areas of expertise are Wills, estate
administration and inheritance tax planning. I am a full member of
STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) which is the
worldwide professional body for experienced people who specialise in
this field. Having graduated in law from the University of Wales
Aberystwyth I took a career break to marry and have a family. I
eventually qualified as a solicitor in 2000 whilst bringing up our 5
children. Now with only one child still at home full time I am able
to indulge my love of the sea and countryside by Croyde in North
Devon at every possible opportunity. |

Martin Lambert
|
|
I was admitted as a Solicitor in 1991 and have
specialised in advising clients on divorce and relationship issues
since then. I am a member of the Law Society Family Law Panel and of
Resolution. I am relatively new to Baily Gibson having joined in the
summer of 2006. |

Susana Diez
|
|
I am head of the Spanish department, which I joined
in 1997. I am a Spanish Abogado and a Registered European lawyer,
having qualified in 1985. I also hold a Post Graduate Diploma in
International Business Law. Although my department deals mainly with
Spanish property purchase, we also help with timeshares, Powers of
Attorney and accidents abroad. |

Liz Orman
|
|
I joined the Family department of Baily Gibson in
February 2003. I undertake all aspects of matrimonial law, although
I have a particular interest in childrens' matters. I work in an
extremely busy department and act for both privately funded and
publicly funded clients. Outside of work I enjoy most sports and am
an avid Southampton FC supporter. |

Sandra Downes
|
|
I joined Baily Gibson in 2004 as a Senior
Residential Conveyancer in the Firm’s Conveyancing Department based
in Beaconsfield. I have over 20 years residential conveyancing
experience. I completed my Articles locally and then I worked for
quite a few years with law firms out of the area, gaining quite a
vast and varied experience. I am very please to be working locally
again, in a friendly and busy office in Beaconsfield. Outside of the
office, some of my interests include music, reading, theatre and
Hollywood musical films. |

Humaira Bajwa
|
|
I joined the firm in 2000 whilst completing my
Masters at King’s College London. I qualified as a solicitor and
joined the Civil/Commercial Litigation Department in March 2004.
I specialize in Employment Law advising and
representing a wide range of Employers and Employees (Respondents
and Claimants) in both contentious and non-contentious matters and
most recently advising on various high value discrimination claims,
unfair dismissals, redundancies and restrictive covenants.
My recent widespread litigation experience also
includes High Court freezing and search orders, high value
commercial/business disputes, inheritance claims, high value
building disputes and land tribunal actions.
Outside working hours I am Treasurer and Executive
Committee member for the Association of Muslim Lawyers (UK) and a
member of the Minority Lawyers Conference Planning Committee for the
Law Society and Bar Council since 2005 through which I organize CPD
accredited law seminars/conferences.
I am fluent in Urdu and Panjabi, conversant in
Spanish with a basic knowledge of Arabic & French. |

Joanne John
|

I joined the Private Client Department of Baily
Gibson in September 2007 having qualified as a Solicitor in 2005. I
specialise in Wills and Estate Administration and also deal with
Lasting Powers of Attorney and some Court of Protection work.
Outside work I enjoy swimming and going to the cinema and often
spend weekends in my hometown in Devon. |

Katie Armitage
|
|
I joined the Baily Gibson family department in
2006. I qualified as a solicitor in 2005, having undertaken my
training contract at a firm with several offices in the Thames
Valley. I specialise in family and children law, and have a
particular interest in public and private law children matters and
injunction work. When not working, I enjoy swimming and playing
badminton. I also enjoy going to the cinema and watching football. |

I joined Baily Gibson in September 2005 having
qualified as a solicitor in August 2005 after completing my training
in the North East of England. I have joined the family team
undertaking all aspects of matrimonial work, acting for both
privately and publicly funded clients. |

Lynda Neaves
|
|
I joined Baily Gibson in September 1998, coming
into the legal world via positions in insurance, business and
commerce. I now work part-time job sharing a very busy switchboard
dealing with all outside agencies who contact the firm. I also deal
with a wide variety of visitors and clients who call into the High
Wycombe office. |

Shirley Handley
|
|
I started with Baily Gibson in January 2001, having
previously worked for the John Lewis Partnership. My former
appointments have always included direct client contact, which I
enjoy very much. I currently work part-time on the busy switchboard
and reception area. |

Moira Calam
|
|
I have been with Baily Gibson since September 2001,
having spent many years in the conference industry. As in my
previous employment, I enjoy meeting the wide variety of clients who
visit the office and helping them with their enquiries. I work
full time in a busy reception area. My interests outside
the office are spending time with family, gardening and reading. |
