| The breakdown of a personal
relationship, whether people are married or not, is now
widespread. Other related issues, for example pre-nuptial
and co-habitation agreements now give increasing cause for
legal debate. Baily Gibson is aware that people going
through separation or divorce require sensitive and
understandable advice. Our aim is obviously to achieve the
best possible result. If this can be achieved amicably by
adopting a sympathetic and conciliatory approach, then this
is, of course, preferable to us having to enter into what
can be for the clients an emotionally difficult process
involving a tough stance.
Where it is necessary to make an emergency application to
protect our client - for example, where funds are being
moved out of the country or there is domestic violence -
then we know that such an application cannot be ignored and
must be dealt with straight away. Again, the needs of the
client are paramount.
We can advise you fully in relation to the costs and
whether you qualify to be assisted under the Legal Aid
scheme. |
